Maureen Nietfeld is one of our super talented staff members at the Colorado Center for the Blind. Besides being a most excellent and effective home management instructor, she has also begun a dynamic career as a YouTube sensation! Maureen is creating a series of videos that challenge the false conceptions and stereotypes of blindness by showing the public that blind people CAN! Through her demonstrations of non-visual techniques, Maureen shows the world that she has the confidence and ability to do whatever she wants and that she can do it as well or better than her sighted peers.
